Meh, it really depends on who you fall onto. BestBuy, FutureShop and Staples basically all work the same way for repairs of laptops: everything that is hardware is
usually sent out to an external repair company. The truth is, if you are getting a consumer laptop, you are kind of stuck going with them, if you're going with a buisness model, it's kind of different.
