Windows Messenger 5.0 looks pretty much like MSN Messenger 4.6 and Windows Messenger 4.7. It's just the plain old 4.x look. Also, it doesn't support all the fancy MSN Messenger 6.0 thingies (like custom emoticons and display pictures). That's why Windows Messenger outperforms MSN Messenger. It's a to-the-point IM client.
