Why would they be? MSN works fine on XP anyway, bit pointless isnt it? The reason Windows Messemger was created was because how it run differently to MSN Messenger. Now that's not needed... so why make Windows? Unless it has a bang load more features in.

Well I thought they'd try to "migrate" everyone to Windows Messenger and just forget about MSN Messenger in the next couple of years.... Supporting two prodcut names is quite confusing. So I do agree with you that having both products is unnecessary. I just want to know for sure what Microsoft is planning for us. I got used to calling it Windows Messenger (like Patchou, it seems) and now I need to start calling it MSN Messenger again. Oh well
