Christmas
A snowflake falls to the ground,
And I know it's Christmas
Singing families all surround
And I know it's Christmas
Red-cheeked children running round,
All covered up in layers
Shopping centres abound
Acting polite
And being nice to Mummy
Hoping tonight
That Santa will come with his big round tummy
Have you been nice?
Or have you been naughty?
Have you checked twice
What's on your list at number forty?
All the present have been put under the tree
One for you and two for me!
Now it's off to bed
Or he'll never come
Up the stairs we tread
Tired from shopping with mum
Goodnight to all
And I hope you had fun
Merry Christmas to big and small
This poem maybe finished,
But Christmas has just begun.
