Basically the program doesn't patch messenger exe file but I don't think it only uses Windows API Hook. The program perhaps may lead system unstability...haven't installed this 17.7 MB package myself, actually.
By the way, the file you can download from the site is a 30-day trial version, please do not provide a crack or something similar. (Yeah I must admit, some people in Taiwan are terrible pirates
