You will need to turn the feature on first before you can use it, and i think you can select file transfers / voice convo's / webcam as seperate objects to enables/disable.... So there isn't any point at all to see this as a bad/evil feature... i think it's great! 
No, unfortunately you can't select separate objects, which I think is
extremely necessary (I want to auto accept files, but I don't want people listening or watching what's happening in my room without my authorization).
