Inspired by the newest feature in Plus! 3, auto-logging the chats for selected contacts, I think it is fair to bring this suggestion up again :).

So, Patchou, auto-logging the event log for selected contacts?
I'm tired of deleting contacts' events that I don't want to have :p.
