Logging works on mine.
For aMSN, I recommend visiting http://amsn.sourceforge.net/ and looking at the forums there. They'll be more able to help you than here, as this forum is full of MSN Messenger users.
If you want, you can PM me with any aMSN questions (I use aMSN myself under Linux).
