You did consider iAudio's hd player, the M3, right?

It's smaller and lighter than the ipod, cheaper, supports WMA apart from MP3, and the battery lasts 14 hours (not as much as their flash-based players, just because hds need more power, but almost doubles the ipod).

Another model, which I couldn't find in sale online, but should be available soon, gives you up to 35 HOURS of playback.

[edit] BTW, it has all the features of CW300 (and more, because it also has those of the CW400) such as FM radio and high quality voice recording integrated.
