O.P. Can't start conversations..

My friend is having some problems with MSN..
He can't start conversations or receive them.. Very strange..
He's getting this error: "Het is niet mogelijk een gesprek te starten met [gebruikersnaam. Probeer het opnieuw.]"" (Nederlands)
How can he fix this?

Version of MSN: MSN Messenger 6.2
Version of MSN Plus: MSN 3
