ther may be lots of reasons. Maybe you modem doesn't support that speed (is it very very very old?). Maybe you live very far from the telefon central (or you have a lot of cable from the telefon to the modem). Maybe the telefon central is an old one and doesn't support so much speed. Maybe your ISP doesn't support it (i don't think so). Maybe your contract is only for that speed....
As you can see there are lots of reasons. Call them (or email them
) and wait for the answer. They can tell you better than us.
