Its caued by certain Plugins! not loading correctly because of certain code. Once the contact list appears and MSN Messenger doesn't crash Plus! will fail to hook because of it. If you remove the Plugins! references in the registry or even the Plugin! folder(or rename it) then it tends to fix the issue. I had this with a Plugin I even created so.
