That made almost sense (I say "almost")... they aren't asking how to remove Plus!, not how to install without the sponsor or how to uninstall the sponsor. Well the topposter didn't anyways and furthermore, they have problems invoking the uninstall-process, and your post didn't helped to fix that....
anyways, to billyflapper, chasingghosts:
First of all:
If Plus! is installed on the administrators account and you don't have administration rights, then you can't uninstall it. You need to ask the administrator of the computer to uninstall it. (your parents for example, or anywone who is the big boss on the PC
)
If you do have administration rights, or you have installed Plus! yourself on your account (which doesn't have administration rights), then you can type the following into
Start > Run > ...:
"C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\msgplus.exe" /Uninstall
(mind the quotes!)
Note:
C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\ is the path to Messenger Plus!, this can be different on your pc, so make sure you've entered the correct path...
Note2: If you installed Plus! yourself on your own account (without having administration rights), then look into your
Program Files section in the
Start menu if you have an menu called
Messenger Plus! 3. If so then there should also be a submenu
Uninstall Messenger Plus! which you can use...
Second:
By uninstalling Plus!, the uninstall of the sponsor will be executed also (that's the reason why you have that searchbar, chasingghosts) . You need to follow the instructions correctly though (like closing every browserwindow, entering the 7 control digits, etc...). Detailed instructions can be found on:

Third:
The sponsor is optional. This means you can choose the install it or refuse it while installing Plus!. You need to accept or decline the agreement in the window that Traxor showed. If you refuse to install the sponsor, you can still install Plus! and enjoy all it's features.
