Yes, read the thread I've pointed out earlier in this thread, and read it till the end where Patchou clearly states how he is going to implement it...
Also, in that same thread I already listed
all (?) the "external IP finder" plugins (except for MD, but that isn't a plugin.... but will be added soon nevertheless)
