What I said in that post applied to Plus! 2 instead of Plus! 3. The previous tri-state checkbox in Plus! 2 have been changed into two checkboxes in Plus! 3. Since you've checked the two checkboxes in Preferences window, I can't think of any ways other than reinstalling your Plus! and Messenger.. 8-)
