Hi,

I use InterVideo WinDVD and Messenger Plus! It's been fine for ages. Today I recieved the update notification, ran the update and then later ran WinDVD. The DVD application froze, locking the whole PC. The only available operation was the off-switch. I rebooted several times with the same result. I also used different DVDs in case that was the problem.

Then I removed Messenger Plus! and the DVD worked fine. I readded Messenger Plus! 3.01.94 and both application worked fine. I haven't re-added the upgrade, because I expect it to fail.

Details:

OS is XP pro 5.1 with SP1
WinDVD version is version 4

Is this of any interest to anyone? If so can I supply any more data for you?
