what type of internet connection are you on ??? it you are on a dail up modem, the problem mite just be the slowness of the connect !!!
and also if you have a slow computer that will not help either, if u do have a slow computer turn off some of the settings. ones like auto adjust the light settings, and any other auto updating settings.
other then that, make sure that u have the latest drivers

http://www.logitech.com chose you country and then click on downloads. select your model of webcam. and download the drivers and software
