O.P. RE: Audiator plugin prevents all other system sounds from playing!!
Sorry I should have posted that information but I must have forgotten.
Win 98
Messenger 6
Plus! versuion 3 (the latest release)
sound card Creative SB32
direct x version 8.1 (all my hardware uses direct sound)

ok. I have udated my SB drivers to the latest available. I have also upgraded fmod to the latest release. (or at least the dll file. if there is more i have to do please let me know).
Even after doing this, the problem still persists. please help!
