Msn Messenger is almost in the final beta stage. That means they prob started the pre-alpha stage of it back around when they released 6.0-6.2. and i absolutely agree with Pr0xY, if they don't start on 8 now, when 7 is done, there will be a period of time where they have nothing to do while planning 8, they might as well start planning now
