OOO!! I have that exact problem! If I'd have known, I wouldn't have posted a fresh thread. I have several desktop icons that I can't remove either..its a bit useless to have them around if you dont want them

stupid lop.com... it's not even related to anything I downloaded, I don't think..

Patchou has the solution, and it works! My unwanted desktop icons have suddenly vanished! Here's the thread: http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=21598
