O.P. Created New Account but cant sing into msn. but signs into hotmail

i have created a hotmail account for my m8 but when i try and log into msn messenger it doesnt log in. it says 'sign in name doesnt exist or password isnt correct'

the code it gives is 81000303. i definately have got the username and password correct.

is sumfing rong with msn?
