I saw a cool site a few years ago, you colud fly over the entire Netherlands in sattelite photo's. It was Java Applet based and very cool. They had USA in their database too.
Not that much detail, but enoug to find my own house and follow the train rails and some streets to my friend's house which lives a few cities away. Can't remember URL anymore, not even sure it still exsists
