how's the password encrypted though? could that not be decrypted?
sorry I'm just trying to think logically here, I'm not even sure making such a tool would be a good idea, as it is in essence a password stealer and could be used maliciously, although on the other hand it could be useful like in the above example

could be completely wrong, but is it not stored encrypted in the registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\(useremail)\Preferences\LogEncryptiondataEx
?
Just done a quick regmon and it's the key that changes when you change your log password
