O.P. POP3 SSL and Windows 98
According to the Change Log
"The POP3 E-Mail feature has been improved:
A new option now allows to activate SSL encryption to communicate with the mail server. This option is recommended if your mail server supports encrypted connections and is mandatory if your server requires it (like GMail does). This option is available for Windows 2000 and above only."
I guess that means it won't work in Windows 98. Are there any plans to make it work in Windows 98. I ask because I have a friend who just got connected to the Internet. His Computer runs Windows 98 and his email requires an SSL connection. He is using Outlook Express 6 which supports SSL.
