Wild cards will not be added (soon) because it can mess many things up. Also there is a limit in textsize which needs to be taken in account. This has been discussed a long long time ago btw (so, to know more detail search the forums

No, filters are not executed alphabetically, they are executed in the way they are added to the list. To check this go to your registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\you@mail.com\WordFilters

You can customize it in the registry if you like.
