that's weird because Custom names usally only work when you set your list to show by e-mail ( it's even said in the preference window )

" Enable Custom Contacts Names (activates "view by e-mail") "

So.. I can't help you there, ty restarting msn messenger and msg plus! maybe that would do it..

I wont say more cuz I dunno more ..
