You need the following information to configure your Yahoo! POP3 account:

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Account name: Your Yahoo! Mail name (your address without "@yahoo.com")
E-mail address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (username@yahoo.com)
Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
NOTE: Additionally the Yahoo! Mail account must have POP3 mail delivery enabled.
Adding a New E-mail Account to Outlook Express
You can add a new e-mail account to your existing profile so that you do not have to replace your current settings to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages. To add a Yahoo! account:
On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
Click the Mail tab, click Add, and then click Mail.
In the Display Name box, type your name, and then click Next.
In the E-mail Address box, click I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use, type your Yahoo! e-mail address (including "@yahoo.com"), and then click Next.
In the My incoming mail server is a type server box, click POP3.
In the Incoming mail box, type pop.mail.yahoo.com.
In the Outgoing mail box, type smtp.mail.yahoo.com, and then click Next.
In the Account name box, type your Yahoo! e-mail address (without "@yahoo.com"). In the Password box, type your Yahoo! e-mail password.
If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, click to select the Remember Password check box. You do not need to select the Log on using secure password check box.
Click Next, click Finish, and then close the Accounts dialog box.
Controlling the Deletion of Messages from the Yahoo! Mail Server
To control the deletion of messages from the Yahoo! Mail server, follow these steps:
On the Tools menu, click Accounts, and then click the Mail tab.
Double-click the pop.mail.yahoo.com account, and then click the Advanced tab.
Click to select the Leave a copy of messages on server check box, click OK, and then click Close.
