thats per data centre they have quite a few data centers so if one goes down in a fire or something the other will automoticly duplicate the data they lost (they keep about 3 copies of everything) and keep on trucking without that center.
on a lecture I watched a while back where a google employee was talking about this and he said they have thousands of servers.
