WDZ heavily modifies MyBB and how it works to make this forum very custom, even when Gold is out, it will still need a lot of modifying to make sure all the tweaks that have been made here on RC4 will work and be reliable. This version of "WDZ-MYBB" has a few advantages (the most used one is probably the reputation system) and MyBB RC4 (and gold when it comes out) has a lot less bugs, and a lot more custom add-ons and tweaks random people have made. When MyBB Gold is out, I'm sure WDZ will find a way to modify as many of his customisations to make them compatible with Gold. But it seems pointless for every release candidate.
