To recover your files, check out
Recover My Files. Remember that using recovery applications like
Recover My Files, the more your disk has been modified, the less chance you have at being able to recover files.
To keep the Norton undelete-thing-ma-bob, but be able to use the regular Windows Recycle Bin, right click Recycle Bin, and go to properties. There shoule be an extra options tab there. Pick what you want in "When i double-click Recycle Bin ...". This info is from my memory of Norton 2001, so it might be a bit different.
