hey um well i was trying to download the latest version of msn i keep getting this message

but when i gave the link which is

to my mates they said it started to download but also i get a message saying this when i try to update it from msn messenger 7.0
A fatal error occured messenger plus cannot apply its features to the version of msn messenger you are currently using this problem can generaly be solved by installking a newer version of msn messenger
and it gives to links:
check for updates
close
so i clicked check for updates and it starts to download then i get this
installation won't take more than one minute. press launch to begin
so i did and i egt this...
an internal error occured update couldn't be launched
and it shuts it all
i was wondering if any of yer knew wat i should do
