I like arty movies. Movies which make you think (Donnie Darko for example). Movies which make you talk about it afterwards.
Donnie Darko, RULES!!
Penguinboy's favourite films!
1/ DONNIE DARKO
2/Ghost world
3/The Ice storm
4/Clockwork Orange
5/Blue Velvet
6/The Night of the Iguana
7/Sweet Sixteen
8/Reservoir Dogs
9/Pulp Fiction
10/ Instinct
and Fargo somewhere or other too i'm thinking i might put it at 5.5
and David and Lisa, should get up there too.
That is my style. Night of the Iguana was a play anyway, but they're all beautifully scripted, performed, filmed (don't forget filming techniques) and the storylines say some lush stuffs. I like films which make me rethink things. As for The Tarentinos; "was that as good for u as it was for me.". And sound tracks can make or break a film. i can think of a couple of films which have sound tracks which just remove all my intentions of seeing the film.
