Redwest (where he visited) has perhaps the best cafeteria on campus - for both food and view. There's a pretty nice water feature on the grounds that they'll often dye green whenever X-Box does something interesting. The food at Microsoft is extremely hit or miss. The contracter we use is called Eurest, and they are fairly inconsistent. Redwest is also not part of the main campus, which located about 2 miles away on the other side of highway 520. Redwest is pretty much unique in construction as well. Microsoft buys a lot of property around main campus.
By the way, the big brass pig that Patchou is sitting on is located at Pike Place Market. Looks like he picked a bad time to visit... That chain-link fence behind him is the "Seattle Flying Fish Company", famous for throwing fish up to a dude behind the counter for wrapping. Pike Place Market is best when visited Saturday or Sunday Morning, but it's way too busy for my taste during the summer...
Bill's house is way, way, way off-limits. You can see it from the 520 bridge on Lake Washington. It's located in Medina on the waterfront, and it's absolutely GI-NORMOUS. Sadly, it's not an easy visit to make. The one time I saw it was when it was still partially under construction when I had to deliver a repaired laptop to his admin.
Patchou, let me know when you come back and I'll get you a "real" tour of campus and the Seattle area
