Not any less than XP does, nor Windows did, for that matter. That's why I didn't say "in every language" or "in lots of languages such as chinese"

Which name is "cooler" and more catchy from an average consumer perspective, from an international marketing mission and from a retail store package, Windows Vista or Windows X2? Which sounds stronger? Newer? "Bigger"? What will stay stronger in the mind of the consumer, "Vista" or a random letter and a random number? Vista means vista. X2 for the great majority means...?

Hmm actually, you can bet they'll market it the other way around. Longhorn is the "vista" you want to see, something new, something "revolutionary" that's coming from the horizon to replace old, ancient windows versions (i.e. xp). Not that that's what will happen, just that's what the name goes after psychologically.
