Okay I understand you wish to create some sort of desktop contact list. You can use Messenger Plus! Show Contacts on desktop feature.

To do this:

Plus > Preferences > Contact List > Desktop Contacts >

You can choose whether you want them to hide if they are offline or not offline but using the combo box.
