Some people install it by their own will. I know I do now and then. When I feel I need space or whatever, I uninstall it for a while.
The thing is, Patchou only works on MsgPlus!. He lives from the sponsor. No sponsor, no more good updates for Plus! (because he'd need to get a job and wouldn't have time to develop it anymore).
