There are more rumours that talk about an IM client from Google. According to the
Los Angeles Times Google wants to keep visitors longer with the ability of sending text messages and speech messages. The textmessages would go through Jabber, an opensourceproject that connects different IMclients. The subdomain talk.google.com is said to be activated but you only receive a 404-page now. The name of the new service would be "Google Talk"
