MSN Messenger does open all links in IE regardless of what you defulat browser is.

This was done intentionally by Microsoft. It was previously asked by Beta testers during the beta stages of version 7.0. Microsoft said it was done this way for security reasons.

I also use StuffPlug to open links in MSN Messenger in FF
