Well, as from a few days ago, my computer has started to be doing strange things, being amazingly slow at times, not always, then sometimes, it just locks up, and I can't press Alt+Ctrl+Del at all, nothing will work, so I have to switch it off by the power (I know it's not a good thing to do, but it's the only way). Sometimes, though, when I turn the computer back on, the monitor doesn't seem to be working, it just james up, and stays black, as if it's not receiving any data to process onto the screen, whereas, the actual computer is starting up...
Does anybody know what the problem is, obviously, my parents are screwing at me, for no reason, they're stupid...
I think it's something to do with my graphics card... What would you say?
I had the same issue 2 days back. I didnt sit on the pc for 3 days and my dad started complaining the pc is tooooo slow
I checked my resources and it had the usual apps. Nothing special.
You can do this trax
1) crtl+alt+del and see the processes running (xp
) anything new
2) AV & Anti spyware scan
3) Rt click on my computer, properties and see the ram. Is it still the same ?? If not then turn off the pc, remove the ram and clean the contact surface at the bottom. (Assuming u know how to remove the ram of the motherboard; else dont touch it. Mine has a simple lock. I press it and the ram pops out .... literally
)
Just clean that golden part at the bottom that goes in with a clean dry cloth. I was told that an eraser is awesome .... it worked for me. And then connect the ram and it should be ok again
