Only the basic ones you do before playing around with anything inside a PC.
Make sure it is off (duh). Some people say it should be off, but left plugged in (so it has an earth). Some say unplug it completely. (Can someone clarify that one, coz Im not 100% sure of it myself?)
Touch something like a stainless steel sink (to lose any static you have on you). Don't wear anything static, like a fleece either...
Those are what I have been taught and what I practise. Depending on how long ago it was you last opened your PC, you might want to close your eyes and hold your breath when you blow
. Its amazing how dusty they get.
Unplugging the graphics card and memory, and blowing the dust out shouldn't do any damage, but if your particularly worried, make sure your all backed-up.
