That's why: the current Plus! isn't fully compatible. Plus you may want to get Service Pack 2

This also was happening with the previous verson of MSN Messenger. Patchou, I'll send you the info. Maybe you can help.

When the contact goes offline is it properly recorded in the Event Log?
