If ur contact is typing a message, it just sends a signal 2 the protocol that he/she's typing. The text is only send when he/she clicks Send. To see that message b4 he/she sends it would be hacking that computer. And I think that's a bit illegal...
If u wanna know his/her message, just w8 a few seconds.
