Yeah, but sometimes it's nice to know when they log in, just in case you forget their blocked and feel like unblocking them... Or if you wanna tell somebody that might be talking to both of you to not say anything if your online or not...
Personally I don't like notifications with blocked contatts... but those are some of the uses that other people find useful.
