O.P. Plus! 3.6 spyware issues (Not my issue however)

I was pluggin Messenger Plus! on a wrestling forum I frequent http://www.wrestling.net.au/opinions/viewtopic.php?t=42750
What does annoy me is that they blame their spyware problems on Messenger Plus! and not their carelessness.
Same with this:http://www.wrestling.net.au/opinions/viewtopic.php?t=42767

How should I explain to them that it isn't Messenger Plus!' fault?

btw. Great work on the tabs Patchou. I've used tabbed msg programs before but none of them have such a nice interface.
