Although this doesn't really solve your problem, you can "temporarily call" Plus! menu by pressing Alt+U and select its Plug-in item (the menu along with the frame will disappear as far as you select something in the menu, or click somewhere outside the menu). That way, you don't need to click the enable-disable-frame button twice and this will save you some time if you get used to it
