True drivers are not run as processes, but this isn't a true driver. SoundMAX audio requires its background process running.

Not everything of a printer can be accessed without specialised software, however, if all the software does is show ink levels and advertise its brand, then it is indeed, useless.

Just uncheck. Deleting them does just that. Unchecking them will remove them from the location that they are in, but will keep the information for that item, so that they can be easily restored by rechecking.
