You can't do anything to fix that. The good translator has to be able to write a sentence big enough to keep the same meaning of the english sentence and short enough so it fits in the reserved space.
You don't need to translate literally, word by word. You are allowed to (and must, if the text doesn't fit) rewrite the sentence using other words, in such way that it keeps the meaning and fits. It isn't an easy work. I've had the same problem lots of times, but if you think a bit, you'll find the correct words
