I've put some links down of programs wich can convert to several video formats. If you want a specific converter google for DVD to <format you need> or go to
http://www.download.com and put it in the search there (that's what i did).
Quick google on "DVD to ipod" came up with:
iPod Media Studio (ofcourse there's plenty more).
