They are extremely stable. Also, a Mac acccessory is a Mac accessory, like a PlayStation game is a PlayStation game, it just works. With other systems, there are many more considerations about whether a product will work with another, but with Mac, most things are highly integrated and compatible.
That also means that they are compatible with nothing that isnt Mac, you can go into a computer store and buy a stick of RAM, and have it work in the non Mac computer of your choice, but put it in a Mac and the Mac will reject it.
