There are a number of techniques. First you can find where the data is sotred (off my head i cannot remember however sunshine can) then paste in into a different directory and rename it from dat to wav. Or use the soundpack extractor by segosa which converts soundspacks into mp3 files so you would need to export the sound as a soundpack.
